2. Data Processing in the App

Reiseplaner stores all the data you enter (trips, days, entries such as transport, accommodation, dining, events, activities and notes, as well as attached photos and documents) exclusively on your device. No data is transmitted to servers, no analytics or tracking tools are used, and no data is shared with third parties. The app works fully offline and does not require a user account.

3. Importing Booking Confirmations

When you import a photo, scan, or PDF of a booking confirmation, the text it contains is read exclusively on your device in order to generate suggestions for times, location, booking reference, and cost. These suggestions are shown to you for review before saving. The document or the extracted data is not transmitted to us or to third parties.

4. Camera and Photo Library

Reiseplaner asks for access to the camera in order to photograph documents directly, and to your photo library in order to attach existing photos or screenshots as proof. These photos are stored exclusively on your device as attachments to your trip entries.

5. Location Data

Reiseplaner optionally asks for access to your location ("While Using the App") in order to automatically suggest your current position as a coordinate when creating a new entry. Location is only requested once when creating an entry, is processed exclusively locally, and is not permanently tracked or transmitted to us. You can restrict or revoke this access at any time in your device settings and instead enter the location manually or select it on the map.

6. PDF Export and Sharing

The optional PDF export of a trip is created locally on your device. Whether and with whom you subsequently share the generated PDF via your device's share function is entirely up to you.

7. Payment Processing via the App Store

The app is purchased exclusively through the Apple App Store. Payment data (e.g. credit card data) is processed exclusively by Apple; we only receive the purchase status, not the full payment data. Apple's own privacy policy applies in addition.

8. Contact via Email

If you contact us via the feedback function in the app or by email, we process your email address and the information you provide exclusively to handle your inquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to inquiries).

9. Cookies and Tracking

The app uses no cookies, analytics tools, advertising trackers or comparable services whatsoever. No user profiles are created.

10. Your Rights as a Data Subject

Under the GDPR, you generally have the following rights, provided the respective legal requirements are met:

• Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
